Improve myself. Stay calm go with the flow. Ignore the negative. Do some work on our house. I am starting a notebook on that one! Work on my relationship with God and my family.

I'm not making resolutions this year. My dh and I have deemed this year "the year to get things done". We have a lot on our plates right now and we want to get rid of the "monkeys on our backs" so to say. Hopefully we will be able to make some positive changes in the coming year.

New Year

No, I do not have New Year Resolutions anymore as I never kept them anyway.

I have a few goals for the new year - I am going to try to lose weight but not by dieting - more by trying to follow the food pyramid and exercising more. ( I lost 11 pounds before the holidays by doing this and really need to get back on track) I am also going to try to get rid of things I no longer love, want, or use. I am feeling overwhelmed with stuff, much of which I don't even use or only hold on to for sentimental reasons. My house is over run with stuff (dh is a packrat and my dks seem to follow in his footsteps). I may not be able to control what they do with their possessions but I CAN control what I do with mine. My ds1 has been studying Budhism and I am learning through him how to be content with what I have, I am going to try living in the moment, find joy in the simple and every day things and try to make time for me. I am not sure if these are resolutions or just goals but that's my plan for the new year. I just need to work on being happier.

I am not a be Resolution maker, but as always I am going to try the healthier lifestyle.
I am going to try something new this year and make myself some monthly short term goals I would like to accomplish. A few of them have to do with decluttering.

not be as snappy
not eat as many jellybeans

I hope I am more successful with the first and I think the second will help me with the first....

LOL!

Sammi, my goals for 2011 are pretty much the same as yours. I have really been feeling overwhelmed by all of the "stuff" in my life - that includes people, too. I have been working a little at decluttering and want to continue doing that. I do need to lose some weight and get healthy. I'm sick of being tired all of the time, and I know I feel better mentally when I am exercising and taking care of myself.

I wish you all luck with your goals.

No New Years Resolutions for me. I do good for about 6 weeks and then crash and burn. I don't know why, I end up sabatoging myself.
