What are your Easter plans this season?

Easter is almost here. What are your plans? You have a tradition?

My sister and her kids are coming over on Good Friday and we are going to dye Easter eggs. Afterward, we are going to watch movies and eat pizza that we have delivered. On Sunday, the Easter Bunny usually comes and hides the eggs the children dyed and he leaves something special for the children.

Since our boys are now adults DH and I usually just "have another day". So aftrer tending all the animals we will work around the "farm". Maybe even work on the cherry floor we are having put down in the theater. I'm sure our help won't be here that day, but there is some of the work I think we can do on it.

We will hopefully have a big family meal, if DH gets home, in time. He is a truck driver and it out in the upper east coast, so I'm not sure. We will have ham, baked potato salad, greenbeans, corn and mini boston creme pies.

It is just dh and me so I usually just get him some yellow Peeps, his favorite and this year our church is having a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc.

I am desperately trying to think of how to cook my turkey dinner without an oven! I have killed my 3rd oven! I am going to try to bbq it, if my bbq can handle it. Happy Easter everyone!
