Occasionally we got for dinner and not the big restaurants like Outback, the Keg, Red Robin, Applebee's, etc, but little places like A & W Rootbeer, the Pizza Palace, DQ, Shari's, the Family Pancake House, or the cafe in the local bowling alley. We use to bowl, so the atmosphere is nice to listen to sometimes, and the mindless chitchat of other patrons at the smaller dining establishments make god personal conversations instead of the usual "how was you day? oh, what happened that __ or __ occurred?" Sometimes just grabbing a little Fast food and heading to a local park and taking a walk or watching the ferries pass by is another enjoyment. Sometimes a simple carpool to work and eating a pretzel snack on the way home is great too! Not a lot of movies out that we enjoy spending $7. + a person on and then another $15 on snacks, maybe in the spring when the local drive-in "hopefully" reopens - that in itself is a great date night!
