What are you known for?

What are you known for? Are you known for your cooking, your crafts, your intelligence? Do people call you for these talents? We'd love to know details of these experiences.

Whenever we have a cook out or other occasion to get together I'm always called upon to make my macaroni salad.
All it is is macaroni, onions, green peppers and mayo. That's it. couldn't be simpler.

Everyone calls me for craft ideas and if they need something sewn/repaired.

I am known to be VERY organized, to the point I get picked on sometimes. I feel you can NEVER be TOO organized.

I also am known for hosting great parties, mainly children. I go all out! Not financially mind you, but more creatively. Ex. When my child had a knight party it was complete with castle walls, knighting ceremony, etc. Castle wall was simply made by painting many refrigerator boxes (free), and using a rectangle sponge painting the "bricks", came out very realistic. We made homemade swords as well. Activities the kids were involved in were making family crest shields, dragon cake eating, dress up, etc. I just keep these props that I spend time making and they can be reused in other themes. I've also done Harry Potter 3x - each different, not for bday but with the release of the first 3 movies, teddy bear picnic, pirate, fancy nancy, fireman, camp out, shooting sports (archery, bbgun, slingshot, boomerang), older kids archery party, cooking, etc.
Everyone local asks me advise on party ideas.

To my friends and family I'm known as the joker the one that picks you up when you're feeling down, with a joke and something silly to make them feel better.
I have some really good friends that have had some really bad times and I'm the one that calls and cracks them up again.
I must admit that when they need me all at the same time it can be wearing but worth the laugh at the end.
I can also paper craft a bit and I can run up a card in no time flat for some one who needs one. When the occasion warrants I can be so military organised to get things done I'm told it's scary but they know I will get the job done and in the allotted time. LOL

I was once 5 minutes late to a friends and she was so worried I'd had an accident but I'd actually had to stop in for petrol for the car, I am so on time you can set your clock by me, I hate being late, bugs the heck out of me LOL
People know they can count on me

Mine is the same as mentioned above....family party and reunion planner!
Like mentioned, its not about a lot of money but being creative. The parties I have givien have all been for adults. Some parties I have given are a garden party baby shower, a surprise 40th birthday tea party, a hobo themed birthday party, my parents 50th anniversary and 2 awesome family reunions!
I've never done a kids party except for MYSELF when I was a kid! LOL! I quack myself up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hugs, train
