I can be shy.
Some stuff about my childhood.
For all my bravado some people do physically scare me.
Yes I have had a couple of wild nights out in my time.
I babble when nervous, I know it and I can't stop myself!
I am very bad at making small talk and because of that large crowds and parties make me nervous
I am basically quite shy
I used to sneak out of my parents house at night between the ages of 18 -21, stay out all night with friends or at parties then sneak back in in the morning. My mom never found out for years. (I had to sneak out because I would get home at 11 from a date and they thought I went to bed. My parents would have given me a hard time if they knew I was going out again)
I love my job as a daycare provider and I love the children I care for but sometimes I think people think I have no brain because I work at home taking care of children and it makes me feel badly about myself.
I talk to my cats and my dog all the time. (my kids think this is hilarious and laugh at me)

Ohhh Sammi we sound so similar, that is when the shyness gets me, I hate making small talk esp new people and that's when shyness comes in. Once I know you you can't shut me up LOL
I, actually we all talk to the dog and I sing, not necessarily loudly, wherever I am when a song I like comes on.
.... and you know what, being a house mum 50% of the time people think I'm dumb and sometimes it's easier to play to that ...... but saying that I think well, I bet I like my life better than you like yours LOL
well that shyness ain't me...LOL UNFORTUNATELY i've never met a stranger... Now i can talk to you and if you answer back wonderful. But if you don't then i guess i wasted my time..I find some people just think they are so much better then me. They may be richer but i bet we both put on our pants 1 leg at a time. LOL. Its not some people are that shy its just they think they are that much better...Kathy i did talk to my dog too. ...And no being a at home mum don't make you dumb. You have to be smarter. You have common sense as some people who have big jobs away from home don't have...And sammi1961, don't feel bad about your self for taking care of others kids...That in itself is a talent as some people don't even know how to raise a kid in the first place. Its a gift given from God no doubt to be able to care for someone elses kids. Pat both your selves on the back.
