Do you love your real name or you were given another name? What name would you have if you could have any name on earth? If you would have been born the opposite sex, what would you have liked to have been named?

I've always been Tami. That was my mother's first choice in names for me, according to her.
I picked out two other names - Donovan and Mark - for my son before my husband and I agreed on Andrew. If he would've been a girl, I would've named him Kaela Nicole.
My first choice for my daughter's name was Alexis and so it stuck with her.

I am named after the song "Oh Donna" by Richie Valens, a song my parents really liked back in the day. It's definitely a 1940-1960s name becasue you don't hear that name in younger people. For that reason, I like that my name is unique!
If I could change my name I would be Angela! That has always been my favorite girls name! It's also the name of our little baby in heaven!
I've always loved my name! My favorite boys name is Keith.

Donna, from that song was a real person. Ricky Valen's wrote that song after someone he was dating at the time. Her parents did not like him because he was Hispanic.
I have grown into my name with age, like Elizabeth more often now. Always been known as Liz or Lizzie. I always wanted to be Josephine, I love the nickname Jo. I was sucha tomboy growing up. It would still suit me today. However, I was named after my father's mother and I am proud to bear her name. She was quite the character and very, very down to earth.
when growing up I wanted my name to be Bobbi, but I'm thankful after I found out that the stories my mom told me about my bio dad was true I didn't have his root name.. Also glad it not as I wouldn't want a name after my ex husband now. LOL LOL
Not sure what I would want my name to be, but I knew I didn't like the name Barbara.. I got tease so much in school with the song,
BarBarbann, ( misspelled) and I hated the name Barbara..
I like how my name became as a nickname Barbar.. in fact John wouldl call me from time to time Barbar...
I love the names that each of my gd's has, as it fits them so well in thie personality.
the name of my daughter fits her too.
My son I wanted to name him after my baby brother in some form or another.. but his daddy wouldn't allow me to, as I named my daughter and he was determined he was going to name the son.. What is funny the name he gave him waS Christopher.. I didn't like that name for I knew it waS going to be shorten to Chris.. but oh no... but guess what it did.. Yet in so many ways the name to me Chris is sort and to the point, and that is how he is n personailty.
but for my name I still don't like it that much, but not sure what I would want my name to be.. so I guess I better stick with the name I got or else I won't have a name at all.
