Hi Melinda!

I think that its cool that you dress up along with your son. My son's BD is Oct 27 so this year he wants to have a Halloween party---but no costumes according to him, lol!

I look forward to seeing your pics!

I actually dress up every year, i love doing it, i enjoy watching the younger kids looking at my costumes, for years i would go as supergirl, then i started changing my costumes, The school got a kick out of it one year, when i went to pick him up at the office, (take him out early) they were all looking at me and telling me it looked great. The another year i had gone as batgirl, and i had to pick up my son in the school yard between the parents, teachers and all the other students..it was a blast. The kids esp, they loved it, yelling look at batman..LOL when infact it was batgirl, i thought it was funny. The kids would call me superman when i wore the supergirl costume. The past two years i have been doing the NON super heros, and i will be doing it again this year, i am going for the more scary, gruesome, dead looking woman this year. Hee Hee...and perhaps make my son the walking dead as well, but he wants to wear a pimp costume so i think i will make him the walking dead pimp. LOL I have my friends two daughters coming with us again, they do every year, and they will spend the night on friday and on saturday i am going to make them up, they want to go also as the walking dead, but walking dead cheerleaders..i think that is going to look pretty COOL.. I like to do different things, not the same ole costumes every year. And i do love the attention..so it will work out great, have to make sure i purchase a new battery for my camera so i can take alot of pics...

Hi Melinda

I am an aquarian too, just in January though!! I'm like you I dress up every year at halloween with my kids. I love when the kids come to our door and they see me in costume. Last year I was a witch but the year before I was raggedy Ann. When I lived at home my parents always dressed up too. One year they amde a big cauldron out of paper mache and put dry ice in it. My mom dressed as a witch and had all the treats in the cauldron. We had a big entrance way and my dad had his wet suit on and painted bones on it . They used a black light so all you saw were the bones. I was dressed in a white nightie with baby powder face and hair standing in a pine box. We had music playing in the background. Ours was the cool house to go to!!!! Made halloween so much fun!!!!!!!

Hugs
Debbie

Hi debbie

Hi Debbie, thank you for the welcome, i agree with you, i just love the way the kids react to the costumes etc..I am usually home for a bit so i can give out candy, but when when it is time for me to take my son out, then no one is home except my landlord downstairs, so they give out candy to the kids. I will still dress up regardless when my son is took old for trick or treating, so i can just stay home and greet the kids. It's such a blast, tho a few might find me a bit morbid since halloween is my favorite holiday, among all the others.Must be my up bringing, my mother loves horror/sci fi movies, and i just love the Horror movies and anything scary, mysterious etc related. hee hee. Hugs, melinda
