Ther are some interesting stories behind some of your user names. So spill it! ;-)

Mine is pretty easy to figure out: FamilyCorner is the name of my site, so that's the most logical user name to pick. How about the rest of you?

It's pretty simple really, we have three children who all have "C" beginning 1st names. Therefore 3cmommy is simple for me to remember-simplicity is the only way to go with 3 kids under 6yo!

Way back before I ever got online, I started a small support group for homeschooling moms in my area. I called it the H.O.M.E. group, which stood for Helping Other Mothers Educate. It was just for moms, no kids or dhs.

After I got online, I found I was still focusing on helping other mothers, but I was doing it through my writing. So, I started calling myself the HOME Writer. It's become my "brand."

I've now reached a point where the "HOME" is starting to just mean that I write at home!

I try to always use the ID HOMEWriter, no matter where I am online.

ladyinmaille, dh's hobby is making chainmaille/ armour for sca in our area. The stuff's neat isn't it? Dd, dh, and I all have full costume/armour.

Back in HS we had to do a paper on norse mythology and thier was this character Otheila. I can't remember what she was, a goddess, a valikrye, a female loki can't remember but anyways.
This one was a practical joker, weird, strange sense of humor, alway's getting into trouble, but she was very kind and never really meant any harm. So the ones I was working on this paper with started joking around that I was her, the discription fit so well. They started joking around calling me it and when I went online I kept the nick-name.
Anything is better then what the nickname my mom stuck me with from birth.... toad and she still calls me it. Most people/ friends know me by either nick name I think only a few actually know my real name...wanda
