Thanks Roberta, it's one of those things I've wondered about how to do it and this book is very helpful. When the church makes them, what do they store them in? I don't have alot of canning jars since my friend forgot to give them to us when we were at her farm and it's not looking too promising to get back out there this year. I think this long term could be very frugal and probably healthier for us making it homemade than from store bought stuff.
Oh and on the little Paul Harvey thing... I loved the zuchini part of it too, sure wish my neighbors had done that to us. I am for sure planting that next year. Squash too, hopefully by them I'll have all that goat milk made up into soap.
