My Thanksgiving dish is Oyster Stuffing and my pies. I only make my Oyster Stuffing for Thanksgiving so it makes it even more special.
Last year I waited to long to get my oysters and couldn't find any in the stores. I called my boss at work. Her boyfriend owns a fish store about 1 hour away. Thanksgiving day they met me half way and gave me oysters. He wouldn't take any money. He had never had oyster stuffing before. He asked if I would make him some. I made an extra dish and ran it down to there house about 30 min away. They took it with them to their family dinner. It was a great hit. I gave him my recipe so he could make it this year. I am now hooked up for fresh oysters for Thanksgiving this year and every year.
