Ok so Riley's school called y'day cos he had a very high temp along with the cough, I brought him home, gave him nurofen and he slept a few hours then woke up right as rain. Last night he slept great and woke up asking to go to school this morning! After we had gotten over the shock of him wanting to go to school my oh and i had a chat about Riley. OH thinks that maybe he is run down because there have been a lot of changes in our house - both boys at school, me working, weather changing etc. I tend to agree. Riley, like me, is a creature of habit and I think his little sstem was really knocked for 6 with the changes in routine.
I do think he does not drink enough water so I will encourage him to do that more, thanks Sonya.
I will also make up the honey/lemon prep to keep in the fridge, worth a try eh? Thanks Navy wife .
Also, Bilby, Riley does have a little eczema and with the rhinitis it seems like he is going to have these issues
All I can do is be as prepared as I can for them!
