Yes WendyMichelle, I am just as guilty. ;-)
That's why I try to keep prepackaged dry fruit snack back and canned fruit next to the chips in the pantry, and the pre-cut carrot nubs in a semi-water filled container near the front of the refrigerator along with "lite" yogurt on eye level shelves. In the meat drawer I keep 1% or 2% milk fat string cheese sticks visible through drawer, and occasionally I buy red delicious apples for the other crisper drawer. If the prices are just right I may even pick up fresh broccoli and /or Cauliflower - and prepackaged saltless almonds or sunflower seeds. Also tomatoes are really good raw also, i use to eat them like apples during my junior and high school educational years. Great for Lycopenes and they are one of the few fruits that do not "have" to be refridgerated.
