| Jodie, I just noticed this thread. I have one area on my forehead that is lighter than the rest of my face. I thought it might be Vitiligo. I am really not sure what it is. I noticed it about a couple of years ago and it hasn't spread or gotten worse or better. My husband thought it might be a scar. But, I haven't injured myself there. It is in the shape of a finger. Anyway, I am SO pale that once I put my make-up on, it is hardly noticeable. Plus, if I wear bangs, it is totally covered up. I know others aren't this fortunate. I haven't gone to the doctor because IF it is that skin disease, it is purely cosmetic. So, unless it gets worse or spreads, I am not worrying about it. I might think differently if it was a dark patch that was on my pale skin. |
