My 2 dogs Max and Rudy have been frolicking in the leaves out back
. I love to watch them play
and run in circles under the maple trees. There are leaves of Gold, Auburn and green. What a glorious sight to watch a leaf come slowly twirling down from the highest of trees.
With the Rocky mountains in the background, the grandeur of it all is breathtaking. The crisp fresh air and knowing that turtle necks, socks and closed shoes are now a must.
Max and Rudy are ready to sport their sweaters too, as they hang out by the pumpkins
. They seem to be working a little harder at finding a warm sunny spot to bask in
. But taking naps never seems to be a problem for them as they twirl up into little donuts looking like circles

are dachshunds and they are long and slinky. They look like little bandits
poking out from the colorful leaves and pouncing on each other for fun
. Sometimes I wish I was a puppy, not a care in the world just the joy of enjoying every season for what it brings us and the pleasure of having a warm nap
