I have made the folded cloth diaper burp cloths and have sewn bright colored rick-rack on the bottom about 3/4 the way down the burp cloth (holding long way) and then I have sponge stamped cute designs with fabric paint. They have come out really cute. I tie a bright grosgrain ribbon around them (I usually put 3 in a packet) and make a gift tag. My friends have loved them and still used the cloths after their kids were done with bottles.
