If you can crochet, do a border around a matching bib and face washer to make a set, that's nice.
Also 2 face washers crocheted together with a little fibre fill (pillow stuffing(?)) to make a fairly flattish pillow for propping baby when a little older.
I love the idea of the burp cloths.
As you are in summer maybe a lighter blanket or sheet, with some nice trim or even bassinette or cot sheets (crib(?))
It's been a while I'm afraid, but it's all I can think of at the moment.
