Kathy, those sites have both the US & English measurements. I have seen alot of recipes that calls for mls or litres & wasn't sure how that measured in US measurements, so that is a help to get the measurements right.

4 cups =1 litre

I also know that our cups are a bigger size than the US ones and so is 1 tablespoon.
