Roast Pork
1 (4 pound boneless pork roast)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp dried basil
2 tsp coarse grind black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 large onion, sliced into large wedeges
1- 12 oz can lite beer
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine everything except roast and beer. Rub spice mix all over rinsed and patted dry pork roast. Put into a roasting pan and surround the roast with the onion. Pour beer into the pan(not over the roast) and cover. Roast for 30 minutes. Uncover and insert meat thermometer and continue roasting till internal temperature registers 180 degrees which will take about 2 hours. Check roast every 2 hours for doneness.
