All of her life, my daughter Merri had tummy problems. It hurt, she was unable to potty, etc. She was 40 when a doctor was able to diagnose her properly. She is very sensitive to corn, wheat, and dairy. The book Eat right 4 your type explained to her (a type O) what foods would help and which ones would not. She lost about 50 pounds and is doing fine now. So... the whole family decided to try changing what we eat to be more beneficial for our bodies. We now eat corn free and wheat free foods. Label reading is a must. Corn syrup and corn starch seems to be in everything. We added lots more veggies (try raw, or steamed, not boiled to death), lots of fruits, especially ones in season, and we sweeten with stevia, which I grew in the garden and you can too. You can also just buy it in the health food store We have meat about twice a week and fish twice a week also. At first, it is a daunting task, but then you get into it and read labels on everything and you;ll be pleasantly surprised at the wonderful things you have been missing, just because you have been on the "common" American diet.
