Norma, it sounds like a nice day! And I am glad that he was honest, too. That says a lot for his character.
Anna, I think they should be okay. We usually do replant stuff to have more or if it doesn't do that well. We'll have to see, though, with the unusual weather. Normally though, it usually frosts in late Oct.-mid Nov.
Went to the yarn store and used my gift card. Gorgeous everything, could have stayed there forever. Maybe they'd let me move in for a while.
I ended up choosing some for a shawl-yarn made from 100% sugar cane. I've never heard of it, but it's really soft. The other yarns are cotton blends. I haven't decided what to do with them yet. Probably something for Christmas gifts. Need to spend some time now looking around for some inspiration. That is probably how I will be spending the rest of the evening.
