Madmum, the stew sounds really good!

Jodi, Crab Fries are a specialty at a restaurant in Philly called "Chickie & Pete's." They spice french fries with an Old Bay-spice-combo. I had them over the weekend at a baseball game (they have stadium concessions) and figured it wouldn't be too hard to make them at home.

Here's how I made them:

CRAB FRIES
Shoestring-style fries
1 TBL Olive Oil
1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Oregano, ground
1/2 tsp Basil
1 tsp Salt
1 TBL Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 tsp Pepper, black

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Cover baking sheet with foil and brush with olive oil.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Spread fries on baking sheet. Drizzle with more olive oil.
Mix with potatoes to coat. (This was messy!)
Cook as directed on package.

(The spice measurements are all approximate.)
