Tami, Would your daughter like to grow some vegetables? If you don't have much space or time try growing them in containers. You can use the containers anywhere on a deck, patio, windowbox, or a small space where ever you can find one.

Quick growing veggies for kids could be bush beans, radishes, a patio tomato plant or a pepper plant are fun to grow for kids.

This doesn't cost a lot of money, all you need are a few containers, soil, and a little fertilizer.

Easy to grow and it's lots of fun for kids to watch grow. They are also growing something they can eat!!
