I guess I am a scrooge, because I don't do Christmas baking anymore. After doing it for 47 Christmases, I just don't fuss any more. My wonderful daughter has us over for Christmas dinner every year, so I don't have to cook it, and our son & wife have us over for Thanksgiving (Canada), so I don't do that either. Last year we had a large skating party to celebrate son's engagement and had a pot luck dinner, which was just great, on Boxing Day. Anyway, that's my idea of Christmas baking, buy a couple of squares and shortbreads that taste just as good as home made, and we're all set.
