Hello everyone...

Ok, so I was just reading over the posts and at the beginning I saw stuffed crossoints (spelled wrong?) with eggs and ham! Yummy

Christmas Eve we celebrate in the hispanic tradition~

Menu is:

potzole ( pork and hominy with chilie guajillo sauce) cabbage, radish and onion garnish

tamales

homemade sopapillas (deep fried flour tortilla dough that look like lil' pillows)

snacks like veggies and dip or crackers and cheese

Our schedule on Christmas Eve is to :

obviously make the food we are eating
read the Christmas Story from scripture
visit a local live nativity
Christmas Eve Mass

at midnight toast and hug

right after midnight we dance and enjoy the evening and the kids can open one gift or two

Christmas Day is the German/ Irish/ all American tradition

Menu is:

Roast turkey and - or Ham
Mashed Potatoes
Homemade Filling/ Stuffing/ Dressing
Homemade Noodles
Gravy
Candied Sweet Potatoes
Baked Corn
Green beans with Bacon
Broccoli and Cheese
Cranberry Sauce
Coleslaw
Green Jello Salad
Celery, Broccoli and Carrot Tray
Homemade Rolls
Jelly
Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream
Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream

Christmas Day Schedule is:

Salvation Army to spend time with the homeless

Dinner at home

Games
Movies

Generally gifts were exchanged at midnight
