My favorite crock pot recipe..is to buy a piece of pork without bones. Next I throw it in the crockpot, and sprinkle it with garlic powder, chives, etc..and cook over night on low.
When I get up in the morning,I take 2 forks and shred it..then you can either use it plain, along side some potatoes, & veggies.
Or you can add BBQ sauce, (we use Baby Rays) and you can serve it on a toasted hamburger bun, brat bun, hotdog bun, or roll it in a tortilla.
I am surprised how much this makes.
I have also done this with beef, and chicken..but the extra fat in pork, seems to work the best.
My guys love this.
I cook it to be done by noon..for we like to eat our heaviest meal then.
