Luke is going to be a bat. I have his costume almost done and it was really cheap to do. I was inspired by
this costume but I didn't want to use an umbrella for the bat wings. So I got a "vampire cape" at the dollar store and cut it down, reverse-scalloping the edges. I cut it long enough so that the very edges of the cape could be attached to the wrists of his sweat shirt. I also basted the neck of the cape to the neck of the shirt. He will wear black sweat pants, black socks and black sneakers. I got a black baseball cap from a neighbor and have some fun foam to make the ears, and felt to make eyes and fangs.
DD is going to be one of the 3 Blind Mice, with her friends.
Obviously we have a rodent theme going here!
Big DS wants to be Pac-Man but if he doesn't get it in gear soon, he won't have a costume to wear. He told me he would take care of it, but hasn't done a thing.
