Hello everyone. I have a crowd pleaser if you have a crockpot. When I have a large crowd, I make my mom's shredded beef sandwiches. Any inexpesive, large roast will work (best bought and frozen when mega meat sales happen in your area), 1 package of Auju season mix (found around gravy mixes in your store), 2 cans of mushrooms and 2 cups of water. Place your roast in a crockpot, mix your Auju season package with 2 C. warm water and pour over the roast. Place lid on and cook on low for 9-12 hours. I do this the night before. Take the meat ouf of the crockpot and shred with 2 forks. Place back in crockpot, add the canned mushrooms, stir and let heat through until ready to serve on buns.
