I buy the started seedlings, I have no luck with seeds and germinationLOL.
Rosemary is a great herb that looks great for ornmental and to use, grows good in a pot, I also grow parsley, oregano and basil and I've grown shallots, they are out my laundry door.
It is really great to be able to go out and just get what you want when you need it, evenif it only lasts 1 year it is still cheaper than buying fresh herbs by a long shot!
