HELP! If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Due to inclement weather, our council had to cancel the Girl Scout Snowflake Ball (a rather fancy dance affair for the girls). The girls are now planning to wear their beautiful dresses to our troop Christmas party next week. Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas to make this party a very elegant party for the girls? Especially any activity ideas?? We've come up with a couple, but nothing definite yet. Any thoughts??
