I want to inform everyone about a K9 police officer who kept his canine partner in his vehicle for 12 hours in the middle of August!!! Of course, the dog died. Keep in mind that not only was this in the middle of August, but it was in Arizona, where it is extremely hot! Instead of a proper pomp and circumstance burial ceremony for a police officer, they buried him pirvately. Here is a link to the story.
