Kathleen's are cool!! That's why I named my daughter Kathleen. She's the first in our family with that name.

My pocketbook usually wins out too- unforunately. I try to follow something I heard a while back-just do what you can & try to do something every day no matter how small. It all adds up. Then I don't feel so guilty.
People are wasteful so I try to not buy as much & use up & wear out what I do have.
By making our own food ,you can control what is in it & keep out what you don't want in it.
Our recycling is once a week, Fridays, same as regular garbage. Separate truck.Usually is full.We have had a lot less regular garbage since we started recycling. I had been taking in papers & cans long before we had curbside pickup.
Another good web site that I go to everyday is:TheRainforestsite.com.You can click for free & save 11.4 sq feet of the rainforest. If you buy off their site it saves more land. Also there are five other sites connected to it that you can click for free to donate to:hunger, literacy,breast cancer,healthcare, & animal rescue. Good causes & free!!
