If your child is allergic to eggs, or doesn't like eggs, or just for fun try this. Take a bag of large marshmallows and let the kids decorate the marshmallows instead of Easter eggs. One way is to quickly dip the marshmallow into water mixed with food coloring. Let them sit for a minute; they will become sticky. You can roll them in sprinkles, colored coconut flakes, orcolored sugar granules. Instead of the dipping process you can also just color them with food decorator pens. They sell different types of these pens in the baking aisles of your local supermarkets. The kids can make different pictures, or faces. Writing their name is also fun.
