good idea on the dishes, wish I had done that instead of buying ones with Santa Claus on them. They have gotten broken over the years, impossible now to find replacements and they only get used once a year, not a good investment
the white with gold trim can be used christmas, new years, birthdays, romantic dinners, etc. alot more possibilities. As they say, with age comes wisdom.
