This is one of the best sites for learning how
to quilt. The best advice I could give you is to start simple, maybe a nine patch, that is 3 across and 3 down. You could even hand stitch it together, start out with a lap robe or nursery size quilt. I still do the simple quilts as I like to make many instead of spending months or years making one quilt.
