I love lilacs..never see any down here and miss the smell and beauty of them.. Down here you can call your local Extension Service and they will tell you how to plant, spray, and care for any plant you may have....The one in Orlando even has the agent on the local news program giving advice and answering questions ... So if Ellen's system doesn't work you can try them....
