I went camping just last month and I actually prefer the autumn months than the hot of summer.
I love to have a campfire in the evening and really need it, compared to summer when it is really not hot enough.
I am not really a wilderness/backpacker type of camper. I do enjoy being outdoors and do enjoy shorter hikes. We do tent camp but we enjoy reading and more relaxing during the days when we camp. We bring badmitton, frisbees, bikes etc so wer'e not total "tent potatoes" LOL!!! I especially like to cook outdoors, everything just seems to taste better!!!
