Coll, she wasn't married. The problem is that her legal next of kin (which has to be over 18) was her mother. But, they have her on video stating how horrible her mother was and how she hated her and so on. However, I personally didn't take much stock in what she said since she was high. However, in probate law, the burden of proof is so much less. I think was no question that she wanted to be buried next to her son.

As for the baby, she is in the Bahamas. That has been part of the problem. The jurisdiction and the law is different over here. Plus, the boyfriend is listed as the father on the child't birth certificate. The boyfriend/lawyer was listed on her will to be in control of everything, which I find suspictious, especially since he was present or around during both deaths. I know in the United States, unless someone knows of any rule changes or something, when a woman is married and she gives birth, that child is automatically considered to be the offspring of the spouse. The spouse is legally responsible for that child.

Does anyone else know what has been going on with this case?

I haven't kept up with what has been going on lately.
