I was going to start an herb garden thread and saw this post and guess what else, today on FC under the HOME tab, small household planter gardens are featured. If you click on the line you will also get a wealth of ideas for GIFTS to give too, gifts that this time of year would be so nice to get and then grow enough so that by spring the recipient can put them outside into their own garden.

I find small herb plants at the grocery store for $1.99 each. Three of these would be a lovely gift with a fresh flower or ribbon tucked in and a card giving care instructions.
