They are beutiful. I helped mom put one in 2 yrs ago. She even wanted it in the shape of a butterfly. We did it in all perenials so she doesn't have to keep planting it every year. If you do put one in remember to put in a ' butterfly bath' a shallow container with muddy water in it. I don't know why it has to be muddy but it does. They're no different then any other garden you put in only the flowers are all what butterflies like. Fairly simple.
After doing Mom's theme garden I made a moon garden for me. All white/silver flowers/ foliage, the neat thing is they bloom in the evening or at night. So it looks like you have a moon reflection in your grass. I think I will do that one again this year. I really liked it, something different.
