What a tear-jerker thread. I got all weepy just reading the things you miss.
I miss my dad and my step-dad.
I miss my DH1, even though I am totally in love and extremely happy with DH2.
I miss my grandchildren when I don't see them.
I miss our little dog who died about 2 yrs ago.
I miss friends I had to leave behind at our old church (for matters of survival).
I miss my nectarine tree in our old house.
I miss my children's childhoods.
Right now I miss my bed and pillow, so that's where I am heading. Night all.
