ISO 4-H Scrapbooking Materials

Hello everyone

I was just wondering if any of you that are involved in 4-H have seen any diecuts, stickers or anything for scrapbooking that has to do with 4-H? A friend of mine is really into scrapbooking and 4-H and she can't find anything at the scapbooking stores. So if you know where we can find anything like that please let me know. Thanks.

I too scrapbook and I am a 4-H leader and 4-H secretary in North Carolina. Occasionally I will find some 4-leaf clover stickers and some others that will work for various events. I even went so far as to make suggestions to a sticker company who had boyscout stickers. Never received a response. The company would have to get permission to use the copyrighted 4-H clover. What I have been doing is making my own by going to my state pages and copying the images and then printing them in color on approriate paper, cardstock/sticker, etc.. This works!! But would be nice if someone would create easy/quick to use ones. If you have trouble finding images, I can e-mail you some images, tell me what you are interested in (ie: horse shows, presentations, projects, etc...). If you find any please let me know also! Just ran across this listserv again. Thought I would update it and let you know that their is now a line of 4-H Scrapbook papers/stickers etc...

You can get them from Current online or from www.4hmall.org. Current is cheaper!

4-H is a club for boys and girls ages 5-18. Boys and girls are in the same club, similar to boy and girl scouts but we don't require uniforms (not in NC that is). And we only meet once a month (well our clubs) may be slightly different in other states. We focus on community service and leadership and our clubs are kind of self-directed (we don't have our main organization group telling us what topics and subjects we have to cover at each meeting. In my club my kids come up with topics (leader approved - LOL) that they want to learn about in the coming year and we assign topics to each month and then have those topics at those meetings. We have an awards ceremony once a year for projects the kids turn-in, but those projects can be on any topic the kids want to take on. That is a brief synaposis of what 4-H is. It is lots of fun and not as much pressure and much easier to be a leader than scouts. Now their are also project specific clubs (like horse clubs, gardening, technology, science, Cooking, sewing, livestock clubs - and they focus more on that one topic throughout the year, but the kids can still do other things in their projects that they are interested in. Ok, sounds like a good thing to keep the kids occupied, probably somthing similar over here under another name.

4 - H seems and odd name, I thought it was a school thing as in grade 4
