I have arthritis for 11 years now and i am 38. The best thing is get a Oreck. It is the BEST sweeper I have ever had. Like the other lady said it is light weight and so very easy to use and to change bags as well.
I know how hard it can be with this disease I also have two other types of arthritis. You do a little at a time or a little each day. Rest in between doing your chores. I know this takes longer but you do get it done. And the bags are easy to change in a oreck. I wouldn't get another vacumn unless it was an oreck. I have had so many sweeper that just turns out they don't work with anything. This is the first I have had something work this good. I hope this helps.
