I paid 1500.00 for a tri-star canister vac which I loved. I was easy to use(Ihave arthritis in my hips and hands). I have also had it for 20yrs. I bought a new house and needed 2 vacs. I tried the Bissel Plus and fell in love again! I had 13 Chows that decide to take over my house. I figure if the vacuum can handle the dogs,so can I. I'm down to 1 Chow Chow and 1 ****er Spaniel (who sheds worse than the Chow) and still have both vacs and also bought a Oreck! If you need more info let me know,this is my opion from my experience.
