Wouldn't we all love to find that pot of gold?!?!?!?! And sure we would, lol!!!
Mouse, I'm so sorry to hear about more deaths in the family, and about your dad's sudden unexplained illness. So scary for you, I'm sure. And I'm still so upset for you and your family for having to leave your home like that. It just is NOT right, dang it!!!
Martie, I'm glad you're better, and that your voice is back, but I'm sorry to hear about the death in your family, also. Don't worry about the books, just do what you ahve to do right now, hear?
Ditzy, I'm glad you're excited about having a little one in the house again. I don't think I could deal with it, lol.
Not much to say, except...Praise God and drumroll, please...my leg is healed! I went to the wound clinic again today, and it was my last visit. The nurses put another dressing on the sore, but said it is for protection only, as the new skin there is so sensitive and fragile. This dressing is to stay on for a week to ten days, and then use my own discretion as to whether or not I want to put another one on, but they think that the compression stocking will be protection enough. I can't dance any more, because of my back and hips, but y'all can do a quick Irish jig in my honor, ok? LOL So, looks like, with the weight loss and the fact that the horrible looking varicose veins are normal again, IF the discoloration in the general area goes away, I will be able to wear shorts in public again, for the first time in more years than I can remember! Ta-da!!!
And on that cheerful note, I'm going to go cook dinner: ground turkey gravy, boiled potatoes, and canned French style beans. Easy, cheap, and good, lol. God bless.
