I have been trying to cut down on the trans fat since last year, also the sodium so am an avid label reader. I use Smart Balance spread since we are prone to high cholesterol and can't use butter.
I thought they had come out with popcorn that was supposed to be trans fat free but haven't seen it in the store for awhile, so maybe they got in trouble for false claims. Almost all processed food has trans fat or tons of sodium in it.
On the bottom shelf at the grocery store I found some crackers called "Ak-Mok," 100% whole wheat with stone ground sesame. At first I thought they were stale but actually they were not loaded with chemicals or trans fat and I had been used to that taste. Wausa crackers are also good, not loaded with chemicals or TF and come in different flavors like sourdough, rye, white rye and sesame. They are pretty high on the top shelf in the store here, so you really have to be looking

for them.
