I don't know if that question was directed to me but No, I do not work for that Noni company...never heard of them either.
I am a SAHM now for 2 years but I did work in a Lab at the hospital.
My son was allergy tested when he was about 5. They made 59 picks(injects allergy serum) on his back and upper arms...Then they grade the reaction by the size of the welt it makes...he was allergic to dust, cats, trees, grass, weeds...and many more. To start allergy shots they take a small part of what you are allergic to and make a serum out of it...and they inject you every week, for months to desensitize you to that allergen. It cost alot of money and when they made the first batch it was lost in transit to the doctors office...and then showed up about 1 month later...I said forget it, if you can't track that package better than that , you are not injecting that in my child...the allergy serum has to be refrigerated at all times...and did it sit somewhere for a month not refrigerated???? Was it tampered with??? and since I was paying the $500.00 for it, I needed to know this.
So we never got the allergy shots for him.
His asthma is much better now...he does all the things he wants and if in gym class he gets wheezing he takes his inhaler.
We did discover that riding the schoolbus made his asthma worse...he was having attacks everyday...first thing at school in the morning and then when he got home...we finally figured out it was the bus fumes! He had missed 22 days of school that year, compared to 2 last year.
Avoidance is the best treatment for us. We run an air cleaner all the time, and keep his room dust free along with the rest of the house...a daily battle here. Limit our exposure to fumes, strong perfumes, campfires, cats and so forth.
