| My husband is a teacher and he and his fellow teachers were amazed at all the stories that would float around from school to school in the town. He and a couple of friends started a rumour that one of the female teachers (she was in on the joke, and is well past the baby-stage of her life) on staff was pregnant, just to see how long it took for the rumour to come back.
