| Thanks Bluebird. She's only 23 and she's already had huge cysts on her overies twice in her lifetime. Now, she is in constant pain and is frustrated about them not finding out what is causing it and how to help her feel better. Hopefully, she will go to another doctor soon. They probably need to look into her overies again since she had to have the cysts removed when she was pregnant with her 4 months-old. I appreciate your advice. As far as the people food, I don't allow the boys to have it anymore except for certain things that dogs are allowed. I do use a tiny bit of low-sodium chicken broth in their dry food as it is too big for toothless old dogs to eat and the moisture helps. The Vet said that was okay since I didn't use much. I also have to mask Jet-Bo's pills every morning in a tiny piece of meat. I use the minimal amount possible as his kidneys can't handle it. I would like to look up a way to make homemade treats for renal failure in canines. Thats the only thing that I miss is being able to give them treats. Poncho is allowed to eat the dog treats, but Jet-Bo isn't. So, I need to find some recipe that they both can eat that I can make. For those of you who do not know, my new username will be DeBora43. I hope it won't be too confusing for everyone. I've been trying to type in blue instead of green to help myself get used to the change. It will be officially announced tomorrow in Phoenix. Then, I have one of the moderators make the change on my username. |
