Hope everyone is having a good evening! Donna Marie, have a wonderful time in Pittsfield. My mil's family farm is in Pittsfield; her sister and bil still live there. I hope that you and John have a nice, relaxing time. You both deserve it. Margaret, I am glad that your eye exams turned out so well. I know that it is a burden off of your back. And I love the alligator! Deb, I hope that you fair better than people in the northeast US did. How long have the boys been running cross country? Reading throught the posts from the end of the September thread made me very hungry. Did you have a good Thanksgiving? Lita, I am glad that your husband was able to race this time. What a terrific adventure. DeBora, I am glad your pup is doing better. I know how hard it is to go through illness with a beloved pet. Congrats on making it through the exam. Lee, Although it would have been nice to have another child under your care, I am glad that you don't have to struggle over putting your ds in full time. Page, LOL about the papering. We have several projects ongoing at any point in time. Right now, the master bath, the laundry room, the front rooms. Sandie, if I can get the pictures to post, I have some black bear pictures for you. Well, dh is doing well after shoulder surgery. He sees the surgeon for a follow up on Monday. Jennifer is loving swim team. A dietician came in and met with both swimmers and parents Saturday. She had the kids keep a 3 day diary of what they ate and when. Jennifer is taking in anywhere from 3000 to 5000 calories a day, and has lost about 10 pounds. She is 5'6" and weighs about 105. She is burning off so many calories I cannot feed her enough. (Oh, how I wish I had that problem!) The dietician would like to see her up to 130/135 pounds. So, we are trying to add even more calories. This dietician was very good for both groups. The organization wants to make sure the kids are eating right (and enough) and drinking enough. They also want to help the swimmers optimize their eating before, during, and after races. Jamie is doing much better. I think that my child is back! He is still running a low grade fever but... For the life of me, I cannot remember who was talking about kids imitating adults. (And I am too tired to go back and look.) Jamie has an imaginary friend, and a group of imaginary super heroes, and two stuffed animals. The scenes that take place are priceless. I am being kicked off to bed. I hope that everyone has a good evening. Goodnight! Debbie
