Seleach, I do try to be understanding. But I did work at Wal*Mart for 1 1/2 years as a cashier in the past. I worked at one point, in every single department, including Lay-away and service desk. I have had more than my share of bad customers. And most of the time, our managment was great. Not at this Wal*mart however. The managers actually talk back to you, and make you feel worthless and inferior for giving them YOUR money. They overcharge on many items, and it's a pain to get refunds. They are CONSTANTLY and consistently out of items that no store should run out of.
The cashiers don't even greet you, ask if you found anything, won't even speak to you, until giving the total, if they give you that. They are too busy gossipping with the other cashiers around them. There are only usually 2 lanes open on a SATURDAY morning, when there are at least 20 stands. And one of them is always a 10 item or less. The other employees, will actually turn away from you, and practically run. It's like nothing I've ever seen, but they know they have the market cornered, and no one can do anything about it.
I understand how demanding customers can be, and I can honestly admit that I am not one. I am polite, in all circumstances in a public situation, as I have been raised that way. This Store however would have Sam Walton rolling over in his grave. IT is HORRIBLE under any circumstance, but particularly in this one. I have NEVER seen such a Horrible place to try to shop, and I mean that in the best way I can. If there were other options, believe me I wouldn't set foot in this store again. But, unfortunately there are NO other options in this small town area.
No money spent today. Whoohoo!
